Wow what a show!!! My first Y&T concert. The support band were Glyder who came on at 6:45-7:30 and did ok, sounded fine.
Y&T came on at 7:45 and played thru to 10pm! Got a glimpse of the setlist and it had ´Hurricane´ thru to ´I believe in you´. The show was superb. I was stood directly in front of Dave Meniketti and rocked all nite with my brother and friend. The band put on such a performance and played their hearts out. Dave literally put his heart and soul in his performance, playing each note to perfection which was noticable to us all. The songs were great, a varied mix. Meanstreak, Open Fire and Rescue Me really rocked! They finished on the brilliant ´Forever´ and lapped up the applause from a very happy crowd. We left with Dave & Phils Plectrums each so we were well chuffed!

| the y&t concert in newcastle on tyne on the 19/09/08 was absolutely amazing. they have been my favourite band since the early 80s. dave meniketti has an amazing voice, and he is the best guiatarist in the world. i love y&y so much, they rock, well done guys for an amazing concert. cant wait too see them again. |

| Absoultely amazing! Loved the band since 1982 & tonight they blew me away once again just like they did across the road at the Dominion theatre in 1983. Come back again next year again guys!! Luv ya! R |
